Jeanne Hess

Together Everyone Achieves More

I have lived in the city since moving here with my husband in 1982. We raised our sons in Kalamazoo Public Schools and have engaged in KPS, WMU, Kalamazoo College, and have been members of St. Thomas More Student Parish the entire time.

My career as a coach, author,  and professor of health and physical education combined with my love of community have affirmed the decision to run as a civil servant to the city that I dearly love.

My skill set includes training in ERACCE, Visions, and DISC, and I am a member of the John Maxwell Team. I will work for collaboration, unity, and discernment of issues based upon a team theory.

I believe strongly in my campaign mantra:

“Together Everyone Achieves More.”
